Bit of a "how-to" following.
First, gather some papers from the same colour-way or "pack". Here I have chosen papers produced by KaiserCraft from their Timeless Classics collection. Select three or four to use on the final card.
Build a base card. Cut a patterned piece of paper to the same size of the base card and then tear it to get the rough edge. I actually used a tearing tool I bought from Creative Memories. Ink around the edges. Then glue this down. On the remainder of the card, ink, using a swirling motion, to create a mottled background.
Make a rosette, using a scoring tool; on a whim I chose another piece of patterned paper from the Timeless Classics collection which I did not originally select. This rosette originally measured 3cm in width.
Build up the rosette by adding a top circular layer or two.
Add two paper ribbon strips to the underside of the rosette. Ink around the edges.
Attach the rosette to the card. Embellish using buttons and stamp a message on the card.
